How to edit a category?
In case you have selected an incorrect category for your transaction, you can go back and change it in the following way: 👇🏼
- Select a transaction
- Click on the category button/symbol in the upper menu
- Select correct category
- Save your changes and you're done! 👏🏼Please note that in case you'd like to change the category for a bank transaction, you should wait until its posted in the app - this means there is no "pending" sign next to the transaction. 🙅🏼
Nevertheless, Spendee is able to learn from your past edits and if you make 4 or more changes to the same transaction, the app will be able to remember your previous edits and adapt future transactions. 👌🏼 You can read more about the automatic categorization here. 👈🏼
