What are transfers? πŸ€”

In general, Transfers enable you to track movements between your own wallets and/or bank accounts in Spendee. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Transfers can be used when you withdraw money from a bank account and pay for something in cash, when you need to send money from your checking account to a savings account or for labeling transactions that you send among shared wallets. πŸ™‹πŸΌβ™‚οΈ

How do Transfers work in Spendee? πŸ‘€

Transfers are excluded from Expense and Income categories, thus they are not included in overall Expense or Income reports. πŸ“Š So when you want to input a Transfer transaction, you always have to switch the transaction type to Transfer first. Then you are able to choose the incoming and outgoing destination of the Transfer. πŸš€

How to add Transfers? 🧐

To add a transaction as a Transfer, tap on the green β€œplus” sign per usual. Instead of choosing a category, switch the type of transaction from β€œExpense” to β€œTransfer” at the top of the dialog. Then include the amount and the incoming and outgoing wallets. You can also select the β€œOut of Spendee” destination, if necessary. Add more details to your Transfer transaction such as dates, notes, #hashtags, and repetition. ✌🏼
